Mr. Kapil B. Sinai Surlakar

Mr Kapil is Director of Design at his own company Light@Work. They are Design Consultants for Architectural Lighting Design and the company is based in Goa, India. Light@Work has been established since 2004 and has four employees. Their work range from private villas outside Goa, to public places and buildings in Shanghai.

Mr Kapil is also working international, for example he did a lighting installation at “Raum & Stadt”, a trade fair in Hanover 2004, a lighting installation at “Luminale” Light Fair, in Frankfurt 2004. Mr Kapil is also holding international lectures.

Mr Kapil took a B.Arch at Goa Univ., a PGDM at Goa Univ., and a M. Arch on Lighting in Germany. He as over 10 years of work experience. He is a Design Member of PLDA and registered Architect with COA India.

In 2007, at the PLDC Global convention 2007 in London, Mr Kapil got the Professional Lighting Design Recognition Award for the Best Newcomer for the last three years globally, and 2007 he was awarded at St. Louis Missouri USA for Akshardham Temple Complex New Delhi.In 1998, mr Kapil won Goa State design competition for Social Housing.
